Aikapiha and Mikonkatu
The 2020 commission comprised detailed design for improvements to the access routes on the Aikapiha and Mikonkatu sides of Aikatalo. The entrances and circulation routes serve a range of uses within this city-centre property.
An ongoing working relationship
Earlier commissions at Aikatalo include renovation work associated with ventilation upgrades, window replacement and alterations to offices, shops and restaurants. Each project adds to the practice’s knowledge of the building.
