From offices to accommodation
Seventh-floor premises at Aikatalo, Mikonkatu 8, were converted into a hostel. Maria Ailio served as principal designer for the alterations.
A new use within an existing building
The project is one of several changes of use carried out at Aikatalo. Adapting office space for accommodation allowed the premises to remain in use for a new purpose.
